Morocco: Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui to be celebrated on Tuesday, August 25, 2026

«Rabie-I 1448 AH will officially begin on Friday, August 14, 2026, with Aïd Al Mawlid Annabaoui set to be celebrated on Tuesday, August 25,» announced the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs on Thursday evening.

In its statement, the ministry confirmed that the lunar crescent signaling the start of Rabie-I 1448 AH was sighted on Thursday evening, 29 Safar 1448 AH, which corresponds to August 13, 2026.

Consequently, Safar will have lasted for 29 days, making Friday, August 14, 2026, the first day of Rabie-I 1448 AH. Aïd Al Mawlid Annabaoui will be observed on Tuesday, August 25, as per the same announcement.
