Libya participates in Tangier’s Maghreb Friendship and Investment Forum

The Maghreb Friendship and Investment Forum opened last Thursday (11 – 12 June) in Tangier, Morocco with the wide participation of economic institutions, businessmen and investors from Morocco, Libya and Tunisia.‎

‎The forum is jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al-Hoceima Region, the Libyan Export Development Authority (LEDA) and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in the capital Crescent, with the participation of the National Planning Council, and sponsored by Libya Insurance Company, while Libya’s Out Box International is the executive organization of the forum.‎

‎The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials and representatives of economic institutions, as well as a group of businessmen and investors from Morocco, Libya and Tunisia, with the aim of enhancing economic and trade cooperation, and exploring investment opportunities and partnerships between the private sector in Maghreb countries.‎

‎The forum aims to support Maghreb economic integration, encourage joint investment, and expand trade relations between participating companies and institutions, through dialogue sessions, face-to-face business meetings and a presentation of investment opportunities available in the region.‎
