Libyan Export Development Authority signs MoU with Moroccan counterpart AMDIE to enhance economic and trade cooperation

The Libyan Export Development Authority (LEDA) and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) signed a memorandum of understanding today in Rabat, Morocco to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Libya and Morocco.

The memorandum aims to develop joint initiatives to support exports and investments and stimulate trade between the two countries.

The memorandum was signed by Mohamed Al-Hangari, Chairman of LEDA, and Ali Al-Siddiqi, Director General of AMDIE, in the presence of a representative from the Libyan Embassy in Morocco and the Director of LEDA’s International Cooperation Office.

Areas of cooperation include:

– Economic promotion

– Market research

– Training and capacity building

– Exchange of expertise

– Support for companies in both countries.

– Organizing trade fairs, missions, and economic forums

– Exchanging information and studies related to trade and investment

LEDA stated that the memorandum comes within the framework of both sides’ efforts to expand cooperation opportunities between Libyan and Moroccan institutions and companies, support trade exchange, and open new horizons for exports and investments in both countries.
