Preparations are underway at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds for the Electronic Payments and Digital Transformation Exhibition (EPAIX 2026), scheduled to take place from June 17 to 18 under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya and the supervision of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences.
Organizers say the event aims to support Libya’s financial services and technology sectors while advancing the country’s digital transformation efforts. The exhibition will feature broad participation and sponsorship from a number of local and international banks and companies specializing in electronic payments and financial technology.
The event’s list of official sponsors includes Jumhouria Bank as the strategic sponsor, along with Moamalat Financial Services and Al-Wahat Exchange as diamond sponsors. Platinum sponsors include Sahara Bank, the Libyan Islamic Bank, and the National Commercial Bank. Technical sponsors include Technology Lines and Almadar Aljadid, while Libyana Mobile Phone Company is participating as one of the event’s leading diamond sponsors.
The General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences said the strong level of participation reflects the exhibition’s importance as a platform that brings together banking institutions, fintech companies, and entrepreneurs to strengthen partnerships, exchange expertise, and showcase the latest innovations in the sector.
The exhibition is considered one of Libya’s leading specialized events in financial technology, attracting financial and technology institutions from both Libya and abroad. It comes as efforts to accelerate digital transformation in Libya’s financial sector continue, with a focus on developing and expanding electronic payment services and promoting greater financial inclusion.
