A delegation from the Audit Bureau’s information technology office has visited Turkey’s Court of Accounts to strengthen cooperation on artificial intelligence and digital transformation, under an existing agreement between the two sides.
The visit follows a reciprocal trip by a Turkish delegation earlier this year and focused on reviewing the outcomes of a prior technical assessment, as well as exploring best practice in IT management and innovation.
Discussions also covered a number of advanced projects developed by the Turkish court, particularly the use of closed AI models to support audit functions, data analysis and decision-making processes.
During the visit, the Audit Bureau delegation presented its own digital initiatives, including the “Athar” platform, which is designed to manage and track audit tasks, contracts, projects and payments, with the aim of strengthening digital governance and improving efficiency.
Officials also showcased “Diwan Bot”, an in-house AI model developed to enhance data analysis, improve the quality of audit reports and provide intelligent query and automated response services.
