Transport workers get new digital marketplace and financial services platform

Transport sector workers in Uganda are gaining access to a new digital marketplace and financial services platform designed to make it easier to buy, sell and manage their finances online.

The platform, Union Online Duuka, was launched through a partnership between RukaPay and the Union Transport Alliance to expand access to e-commerce and digital financial services within the transport sector.

It enables drivers, boda boda riders, transporters and other members to shop online, list and sell products, and reach customers beyond their immediate communities.
