The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has released its production and revenue summary for July 2026, reporting total crude oil production of 41.7 million barrels, with $2.26 billion in revenues transferred to the sovereign account at the Libyan Foreign Bank.
According to the NOC, Libya’s share of production exceeded 36 million barrels, of which approximately 32.3 million barrels were exported as crude oil, 3.2 million barrels were allocated for refining, and 439,000 barrels were supplied to the Ubari and Mellitah power stations. Meanwhile, partner companies’ share amounted to 7.9 million barrels.
The statistics also showed that total natural gas production reached 75.3 billion cubic feet during the same month, with the majority allocated for domestic consumption and operational use.
The NOC further announced that it collected more than LYD 2.3 billion in royalties and concession contract taxes on behalf of the Ministry of Oil. It noted that the U.S. dollar revenues transferred to the Libyan Foreign Bank are first used to cover fuel import letters of credit, with the remaining balance subsequently transferred to the Central Bank of Libya.
