Menfi receives message from Mauritanian president

The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohamed Menfi, has received a written message from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, delivered by his special envoy and Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug.

Menfi met the envoy on Sunday evening at the PC’s headquarters in Tripoli, according to the council’s media office.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing partnership across various sectors, in a way that serves mutual interests and supports the aspirations of both nations.

Menfi reaffirmed Libya’s commitment to deepening ties with Mauritania and expanding cooperation, highlighting the historical and fraternal relations between the two countries.
