Health Minister discusses healthcare cooperation with Italian Industry Federation
Health Minister Mohammed Al-Ghouj met with representatives of the Italian Industry Federation during his official visit to Rome to discuss strengthening cooperation in Libya’s healthcare sector.
The meeting focused on supporting healthcare infrastructure projects, localizing the production of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, increasing investment in the health sector, and transferring modern technologies and expertise to Libya.
The two sides also explored ways to encourage Italian companies to participate in implementing healthcare projects and expand cooperation in training and capacity building to improve healthcare services and support the ministry’s plans to develop the sector in line with international best practices.
