Brazil’s fruit and vegetable juice exports to U.S. fall 44.2%

Brazilian exports of fruit and vegetable juices to the United States fell 22.5% in July 2026, contributing to a broader decline in Brazilian shipments to the market.

Brazilian exports to the U.S. declined 5.0% overall in July, while fruit and vegetable juices were among the products registering lower sales. In the first seven months of 2026, exports of fruit and vegetable juices were down 44.2% year over year.

Herlon Brandão, director of foreign trade statistics and studies at Brazil’s trade ministry MDIC, said the July decline could not be directly attributed to the latest U.S. tariff increase, which only came fully into force on July 29.

“The U.S. measure only came fully into force on July 29,” Brandão said. “So it is not possible to attribute the entire July movement to the measure.”
