Audit Bureau reviews financial position of Libya’s telecom sector

Head of Libya’s Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak met with Khaled Zaghnin, Director General of the Libyan Holding Company for Communications and Information Technology, along with several department directors from both sides, to discuss key issues concerning the telecommunications sector.

The meeting focused on the sector’s overall financial position, including the financial statements of the holding company and its subsidiaries, as well as financial indicators and data related to the sector’s performance.

The two sides also discussed the company’s digital transformation projects and ways to support their implementation to strengthen Libya’s digital infrastructure, keep pace with global technological developments, enhance the competitiveness of the telecommunications sector, and improve services provided to citizens.
