Army chief discusses naval cooperation during French ship visit
Libya’s army chief of staff, Salah al-Din al-Namroush, has discussed boosting naval capabilities with France’s ambassador to Libya, Thierry Vallat, during a visit to Tripoli Naval Base.
The talks coincided with the arrival of the French naval vessel Pluton and focused on joint training and military cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed plans to continue programmes aimed at strengthening the readiness of Libya’s naval forces.
