Shalulile then scored his first goal since joining Yanga as a free agent, finishing from Kangwanda’s cross in the 64th minute to confirm a dominant victory, according to Pan-Africa Football.

The Namibian, who joined Yanga after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns, has now made an immediate impact at his new club, scoring in his second league appearance.

The 32-year-old has been tasked with leading Yanga’s charge for a sixth consecutive league title and a serious CAF Champions League campaign under Manqoba Mngqithi.

Yanga and Simba Set the Pace

Yanga and rivals Simba remain the only teams in the league to be perfect through three matches, with both sides sitting on nine points at the top of the table.

Simba, coached by fellow South African Steve Barker, edged Singida Black Stars 2-0 on Saturday thanks to goals from Clatous Chama and Rushine De Reuck.
