Moroccan Politician Hits Out at FA President
Meanwhile, Morocco’s Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch recently hit out at the Royal Moroccan Football Federation president Fouzi Lekjaa, warning him to stop making promises.
The politician questioned assurances made in relation to winning the Africa Cup of Nations and reaching the FIFA World Cup final.
“Promises are not saying you’re going to win the Africa Cup of Nations while we are still waiting,” he said at a recent rally, per Morocco World News.
“Promises are not saying that we have a team that will reach the World Cup final, when the team before it had already reached the semi-finals. Don’t make promises,” he added.
