Nike’s New “Laser” Air Force 1 Travels to Morocco
If the long-anticipated Free The Youth x Air Jordan 16 is indicative of anything, it’s that the NIKE, Inc. Family is finally ready to celebrate the continent of Africa on a global scale. The lasered AF-1 is part of this effort.
The bulk of the newly-surfaced ’07 LV8 pair is done in a clean “White” finish that allows for the slightest contrast to pop. Forefoot and mid-foot panels feature curved lines that recreate traditional, decorative architecture—be it on windows, doors, or gates. A special Swoosh emblem lands on the lateral heel and silver lace dubrae, further nodding to cultural inspo.
