The story

Manchester United and adidas have unveiled the club’s new 2026/27 Third kit, with the latest release paying tribute to the youth culture, community institutions and creative energy that have helped shape Greater Manchester across generations.

The ivory-coloured jersey will be worn by United’s men’s, women’s and Academy teams this season, with the club’s iconic devil crest taking centre stage alongside the adidas and Snapdragon branding.

Fans were given their first official look at the new strip through a launch film shot at the legendary Salford Lads and Girls Club, one of Manchester’s most recognisable community landmarks.

The campaign brought together a star-studded cast that reflected Man United’sbroad cultural reach. First-team stars including Amad Diallo, captain Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha and Lisandro Martinez featured alongside United legends Gary Pallister and Peter Schmeichel.

Rapper Aitch and social-media personality “Angry Ginge” also made appearances, further highlighting the connection between Man United, the city’s creative scene and its passionate supporter culture.

At the heart of the design is an ivory base that provides a clean canvas for a bespoke floral graphic spanning the shirt. The pattern features hand-drawn rose illustrations embedded directly into the fabric, drawing inspiration from artwork and creative expressions found throughout Manchester’s community spaces and cultural institutions.

The result is a jersey that blends traditional references with a distinctly modern aesthetic while keeping Manchester’s cultural identity front and centre.

Rich maroon detailing appears across the adidas logo, devil crest, collar and sleeve trims, with the colour inspired by the red-brick architecture that has long defined Manchester’s historic buildings.

Adding another local touch, contrasting green accents feature on the adidas Three Stripes, taking inspiration from the distinctive green doors seen around the city, including those of the Salford Lads and Girls Club.

The shirt is completed by a streamlined crew-neck collar, giving the jersey a contemporary silhouette, while the back of the neck features a bespoke “Manchester United Football Club” sign-off.

More than simply another alternate strip, the 2026/27 Third kit is a celebration of the places, people and creative influences that continue to shape Manchester, while giving United supporters another stylish way to wear their identity.
