Libya’s 3+3 Military Committee meets representatives from AFRICOM and Italy in Sirte
Libya’s Joint Military Committee’s 3+3 team met Thursday at Al-Haniwah Camp in Sirte with representatives from the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) and Italy.
According to the Military Media Division affiliated with Haftar’s forces, the meeting focused on joint efforts and preparations for the Flintlock 2027 military exercise, following the successful completion of Flintlock 2026.
The 3+3 committee comprises six Libyan officers, with three representing Haftar’s forces in Benghazi and three from the Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity in Tripoli. The committee was established earlier this year to coordinate preparations for the Flintlock 2026 exercise.
