Libya condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

Libya’s Government of National Unity’s Foreign Ministry condemned Houthi attacks on several areas of Saudi Arabia that targeted civilian and economic facilities and injured 73 civilians, including women and children.

The ministry expressed Libya’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for measures taken to protect its territory, citizens, residents and resources.

It described attacks on civilian facilities and the endangerment of civilians as a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and a dangerous escalation threatening Saudi Arabia’s security and stability.

The ministry also reiterated its support for international efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote security and stability in the region.
