LC II Chairpersons elected across Uganda

Members of the electoral college at village level have today elected LC II chairpersons in more than 10,700 parishes nationwide in a process that the Electoral Commission says has generally been peaceful.

However, at some polling stations, scuffles ensued over non-harmonised party representation on the Local Council II committees.
