Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says his country will continue to support Libya and work with it to develop its oil reserves.
Speaking in an interview with Al Jazeera, Erdogan said relations between Turkey and Libya remained strong and that Ankara would not leave Libya alone in the steps it was taking.
He confirmed that Turkish Petroleum had already taken steps towards jointly developing Libya’s oil reserves and that work in this area was continuing.
