Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has reviewed measures to complete the establishment of a National Council for Women.
Dbeibah discussed the issue with Minister of State for Women’s Affairs Randa Gharib, according to the government’s Hakomitna page on Facebook.
The meeting reviewed progress in implementing the decision to establish the council and preparations for it to begin its work.
Dbeibah called for obstacles to be addressed and for the council to receive the support needed to carry out its duties, with the aim of strengthening its role in addressing women’s issues and promoting their participation across different fields.
