Cameron Park Zoo welcomes black-footed cat to parents Gaia and Finn

WACO, Texas — Cameron Park Zoo announced the birth of its first black-footed cat kitten on Saturday, born to parents Gaia and Finn. 

According to zoo officials, less than 30 black-footed cats are born in zoos nationwide every year.

“Our dedicated zoo staff is providing around-the-clock care as they hand-rear the kitten, and we can’t wait for you to follow along as this little one grows!” the zoo said.
