Several Arab countries on Saturday strongly condemned Iran’s drone attacks on Bahrain, describing them as a blatant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and of international law and the UN Charter.
The United Arab Emirates denounced the strikes “in the strongest terms,” calling them an aggressive violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its full solidarity with Bahrain and support for all measures taken to safeguard its security.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the “heinous Iranian assault” on Bahrain, stressing that the attacks represent a direct threat to the safety of citizens and residents and a serious undermining of regional peace efforts.
Kuwait reiterated its unwavering support for Bahrain’s sovereignty and stability.
Meanwhile, Egypt also condemned the drone strikes, voicing full solidarity with Bahrain and warning that the attacks constitute an unacceptable escalation that undermines regional de-escalation efforts.
Cairo emphasized that such actions come at a time when regional initiatives are advancing toward stability, and urged restraint to avoid fueling tensions.
Arab states collectively underscored their backing for Bahrain and other Gulf nations in defending their sovereignty and security against external aggression.
