Al-Namroush calls for boost to military institution performance
Chief of the General Staff, Lt Gen Salahaldin al-Namroush, has called for greater efforts to improve the performance of the military as an institution.
He made the remarks during a meeting on Wednesday with heads of staff branches to discuss operational and administrative matters, according to a statement from the General Staff.
Al-Namroush also stressed the need to safeguard the rights of the institution and its personnel, and to address challenges affecting its work in order to enhance readiness.
The meeting included a briefing on the latest military developments across the country.
