Acting Foreign Minister affirms Libya’s support for Yemen’s unity and sovereignty

Taher Al-Baour, the official in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Government of National Unity, has reaffirmed Libya’s support for Yemen’s security, stability, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. 

He emphasized support for efforts aimed at resolving the conflict through political and diplomatic channels.

This statement came during a phone call Al-Baour held on Saturday with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zuba. 

According to a statement posted on the Foreign Ministry’s Facebook page, the two officials discussed the latest situation in Yemen, rapid regional developments, and their repercussions on regional security and stability.

They also discussed ways to support Yemeni state institutions and create favorable conditions for achieving sustainable political solutions, alongside bilateral relations and means to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
