Meknes – AC Milan have initiated contact with Manchester United to explore a potential summer deal for Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui.
According to AfricaFoot, the Italian outfit has reportedly explored the terms for a potential deal involving the Moroccan international, who remains under contract with Manchester United through June 2028.
However, these discussions remain strictly exploratory, as the Serie A side is yet to submit a formal proposal.
Since joining Manchester United from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024, Mazraoui has quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad. His ability to operate on either side of the defense have made him a crucial asset for the Red Devils.
Prior to his arrival in England, the 28-year-old defender developed through the youth ranks at Ajax Amsterdam, where he launched his senior career before moving to Bayern Munich in 2022.
Following his stint in Germany, he opted for a new challenge in the Premier League by securing his move to Manchester United.
Throughout last season, Mazraoui was a consistent performer for the Red Devils across all competitions, drawing interest from top European clubs, including AC Milan.
On the international stage, Mazraoui anchored Morocco’s defense during their 2026 FIFA World Cup run.
Operating primarily at left-back, his tactical awareness and composure under pressure were vital in guiding the team to the quarter-finals.
Under contract with Manchester United for another two seasons, Mazraoui is in a secure situation that leaves his club under no pressure to sell him this summer.
Any potential move would ultimately depend on the Red Devils’ willingness to negotiate and the financial terms of a deal that remains strictly in its early stages.
