Cairo, Egypt – Zamalek is set for a new Egyptian Premier League clash as they visit Ghazl El Mahalla this Wednesday evening. The match, part of the competition’s fifth round, will be hosted at Ghazl El Mahalla Stadium.
Zamalek head coach Mo’tamed Gamal is preparing several changes to the starting lineup that played the team’s last match against Djibouti’s AS Port in the CAF Champions League, in an effort to assign different roles to certain players during the league match.
Foremost among the anticipated changes is the return of El-Mahdi Soliman to the Zamalek goal, in accordance with the agreement reached between the coaching staff and the three goalkeepers regarding the current rotation system.
Motamed Gamal is also leaning towards deploying Ahmed Fatouh in midfield, having determined that the player can add value in that position alongside Mohamed Shehata and Abdallah El-Said.
Zamalek visits Ghazl El Mahalla aiming to secure a positive result and continue their league campaign, with the coaching staff keen to leverage the squad’s capabilities and deploy them effectively during the match.
