Young Ugandan artists shine in global contest

Two young Ugandan artists have achieved a rare feat on the global stage, becoming the first Ugandan children to be named Best Finalists in the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.

Dariona Gibson Nyehangane and Natasha Mahoro Williams were recognised for their artworks imagining how vehicles could help solve real-world problems.

The awards were presented at their school, Friends International Christian Academy in Mbarara.
