Yemen : Giants Brigades Advance in Yemen’s Al-Bayda Amid Heavy Airstrikes on Houthis

Al-Bayda — The Giants Brigades achieved significant battlefield gains in Yemen’s central Al-Bayda province following a large-scale military operation against positions held by the Houthi militia, coinciding with concentrated airstrikes on reinforcements and gatherings.

Military field sources said the forces launched their offensive from the Yafa front, successfully liberating and securing several strategic sites, most notably Jabal al-Khazan and the al-Majreesh area. 

The advance continued toward Umflihan and al-Nasifa in the al-Humayqan area of al-Zahir district, with units pressing forward at a rapid pace to capture additional positions.

On the aerial front, warplanes carried out 11 precision strikes targeting Houthi military sites and gatherings in al-Zahir and al-Sawadiyah districts. 

Sources reported that the raids killed multiple fighters, including senior field commanders and military experts affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, delivering a major blow to the militia’s leadership structure in Al-Bayda.

The coordinated ground and air campaign marks one of the most notable advances by the Giants Brigades in recent months, underscoring the intensifying pressure on Houthi forces in central Yemen.
