Players, I’ve been I, I saw this from William Saliba, but players are complaining about the quality of the pitches.
and, I saw William Saliba, specifically talk about, the field at, at New York-New Jersey Stadium.
that is, to me, ju- just absurd that this is even a thing, that, that the players, that it’s not up to the quality of what, what these players, are used to.
It’s the wo- this is the ti- y- you can’t say you don’t have money.
You can’t say there’s not enough investment.
Like, this, it, they should be pristine.
They should be flawless.
And, and instead of players saying that the ball is bouncing weird and having these We saw it at the Club World Cup, you know, so, that’s even another ridiculous aspect of it, is that they tested this whole thing- We had a practice run.

Yeah, we had a practice run and, and for it not to be absolutely flawless.
I know that the, the pitches were, were, grown in New Jersey and everything, and, I know that people are doing a lot to make sure that it is as good as possible.
But to hear this from players is so disappointing.
Especially where that’s gonna be the final.
Yeah, yeah.
It shouldn’t be the case, at least for the final.
but I will say the stadiums have been pretty g- everyone’s loves the stadium atmosphere and- Sure the concessions and all that, so at least that’s good.
We gotta get the, the pitch is the most important part.
That’s gotta be up to par
