UNDP discusses cooperation prospects in Southern Libya
The Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Sophie Kemkhadze, and her deputy, Mohamed Saleh, have held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Southern Development and Improvement Authority, Salem Al-Zadma, in the presence of several officials from the Authority.
The meeting reviewed development programmes implemented by UNDP programme across Libya, with a focus on initiatives targeting the southern region to support vital sectors and improve basic services for residents.
The two sides also discussed mechanisms for coordination and cooperation in the coming phase, emphasizing the importance of directing efforts toward implementing development projects with a direct and tangible impact, thereby strengthening stability and supporting comprehensive local development in all southern municipalities.
