UN envoy, French official discuss Libya political roadmap

UN Libya envoy Hanna Tetteh has met French President’s Special Envoy for Libya Paul Soler in Tripoli to discuss political, economic and security developments.

The UN Support Mission in Libya said the talks focused on supporting Libyans in reaching a political agreement that could pave the way for national elections and the unification of state institutions.

The two officials also discussed progress on the UN-facilitated political roadmap and efforts to support Libya’s political process.
