A monument honoring Yoni Netanyahu was unveiled in Uganda at the old Entebbe terminal where the hostage rescue operation took place, according to a report by the local website The Kampala Post, which is close to the government and military. The ceremony was led by Ugandan Armed Forces Commander Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who emphasized in his speech that the event symbolizes “the ongoing security partnership, mutual trust and diplomatic reconciliation between Uganda and Israel.” He went on to say: “Monuments are much more than stone and bronze. They preserve memory, teach history and inspire future generations.”
