Turkey trains 362 Libyan soldiers in commando course

Turkey’s Defence Ministry says 362 Libyan soldiers from the country’s east and west have completed a basic commando training course in Turkey.

The training was conducted by Turkey’s 40th Commando Training Brigade between 15 June and 4 September, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

It confirmed that all participants successfully completed the course, with a ceremony held to mark its conclusion.

The training is part of ongoing military cooperation between Turkey and Libya.
