Turkey intelligence chief meets Libyan defence official in Ankara
Turkey’s intelligence chief, Ibrahim Kalin, has met Libya’s Deputy Defence Minister, Lt Gen Abdulsalam Al-Zoubi, in Ankara to discuss developments in Libya and issues of mutual interest.
The talks covered the political process and efforts to unify the military on professional and national foundations, aimed at strengthening state institutions and supporting a comprehensive settlement.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation, and backing efforts to promote stability and create conditions conducive to a successful political process, according to the Hakomitna platform.
