ANGOLA, Ind. (WSBT) — A major crash involving two semis has shut down eastbound lanes on the Toll Road.
It happened early Tuesday morning four miles east of the Fremont area, near the Angola Motor Speedway.
Indiana State Police say the semis crashed, scattering approximately 10,000 cans of green beans across the road before the vehicles exploded.
Officials say the semis are melted together.
The drivers had minor injuries and have since been released from the hospital.
Traffic is diverted at Exit 144, which is the Angola Plaza.
Drivers should expect delays as crews continue the lengthy cleanup process.
