Telecom Namibia and Angolan space agency sign Angosat-2 satellite deal

Telecom Namibia and Angola’s National Space Programme Management Office (GGPEN) have agreed to use the Angosat-2 satellite platform to deliver internet, voice and VPN services to remote and underserved locations in Namibia. The deal was made at ANGOTIC 2026 in Luanda. The pilot commercial agreement transitions the successful Angosat-2 proof of concept into a live network trial.
