Tanzania’s Wanyeche wins Uganda Ladies Open by one stroke

Tanzanian golfer Hawa Wanyeche won this year’s Johnnie Walker Uganda Ladies Open in dramatic fashion following a late rally over the last few holes. Wanyeche won the tournament by one stroke after totaling a gross score of 228. Youngster Keisha Kagoro, who entered the day in the lead, finished joint second alongside 2023 winner Peace Kabasweka.
