Tanzania Women Premier Soccer League season 2026 Kicks off with twelve teams – The Tanzania Times

The 2025-2026 Season of the Tanzania Women Premier League kicks off from the 14th of November 2025 with matches being played at four different venues across the country.

Matches for the Tanzania Women Premier League will be played on Home and Away basis running between November 2025 and May 2026 in various arenas across the nation.

To open the league, Geita Queens of Geita is going to welcome the Ceasiaa Queens of Iringa at the Nyankumbu Girls Stadium in Geita on Friday the 14the of November 2025.

On the same date, the Simba Queens will be facing the Bilo Queens from Mwanza at the Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) grounds in Dar-es-salaam city.

On the other hand, the Alliance Girls of Mwanza will be playing against Fountain Gate Princess of Dodoma at the Nyamagana stadium during the league openers.

Yanga Princess gets to travel to Lindi Region where they are to play against Ruangwa Queens at the Majaliwa Stadium in the Ruangwa District.

The Premier League for 2025-2026 is featuring a total of 12 women soccer teams, with the National Service (JKT Queens) team returning to defend their crown, as the champions of previous season.

This time Mwanza Region produces two teams, including Alliance Girls and Bilo Queens.

The Dar-es-salaam City is sending out the Yanga Princess, Simba Queens, Tausi Queens and JKT Queens.

Simba Queens were the first runners up during the previous season’s women’s league, behind JKT.

Iringa Region is fielding Ceasiaa Queens, while Lindi is being represented by Ruangwa Queens in the league.

Geita Region is sending out the Geita Queens to the premier league while Mara Region has the Bunda Queens.

The central Dodoma City is fielding the Fountain Gate Queens while the Western Kigoma Region has outfitted the Mashujaa Queens for battle.

A total of 10 teams participated during the previous league season, which means there is an increase of two more clubs this year.

Dropping out of the league were the Mlandizi Queens and Gets Program.

On the other hand, four teams climbed steps into the premiers, and these are Bilo Queens, Ruangwa Queens, Tausi and Geita Queens.
