Syrian Embassy reopens in Tripoli
Syrian Foreign Minister and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani inaugurated the Syrian Embassy’s headquarters in Tripoli on Sunday, marking the reopening of the embassy in the Libyan capital.
The ceremony was attended by Taher Al-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya’s Government of National Unity, the Syrian chargé d’affaires, and several officials from Libya’s Foreign Ministry.
In his remarks, Al-Baour welcomed Al-Shaibani and his accompanying delegation, describing the reopening as an important opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation between Libya and Syria, emphasizing the importance of continuing consultations and meetings between the two sides to explore ways to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
