Elsewhere, hosts of the 2025 AFCON, Morocco, were drawn in Group A alongside Gabon, the Niger Republic and Lesotho.
Seven-time AFCON champions, Egypt, will face Angola, Malawi and South Sudan in Group B.
Five-time African champions Cameroon were handed a difficult group containing Comoros, Namibia and Congo.
