Rulani’s Pyramids Get Boost In Striker Chase

Rulani Mokwena’s Pyramids FC have received a boost in their bid to sign a new striker after losing Fiston Mayele.

The Democratic Republic of Congo striker bid farewell to the Egyptian side earlier this week as he is set for a new challenge.

The 2025 African champions have been heavily linked with a move with Universitatea Craiova striker Asad Al-Hamlaoui.

However, the Romanian club are now open to selling the Palestinian striker but for a certain fee.

“If the decision were up to me, and I received a good offer for one of the players, I would agree to sell him, as it would be in the best interest of both the club and the player,” Sylvain Cristescu, who is an associate of club owner, said to Fanatik, as per Ysscores.

“The club should not get into financial crises or issues related to financial fair play, while it can achieve significant financial returns.

“It’s natural for a player to think about a transfer if their salary increases from €20,000 a month to €50,000 or €60,000, and €5 million is an excellent value for selling any player on the team right now.”

“If the offers are around one and a half million, two million, or two and a half million, these are the prices at which we buy players, not the prices at which we sell them.”
