Roku and the NFL have announced the international expansion of the NFL Zone, a centralized hub within the Roku Sports experience. The NFL Zone is now available in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil in addition to the United States, giving fans in those markets a destination for live and upcoming games, NFL Fast Channel highlights, clips, and other NFL content.
The expansion also brings the NFL Channel — the NFL’s free, ad-supported 24/7 programming destination — to viewers in the U.K., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil for the first time. In Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, the NFL Zone will feature officially branded NFL clips and highlights alongside live and upcoming game listings.
“With the NFL Zone, we’re bringing the League’s content together in one place,” says Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports, Roku Media. “We’ve seen the success of the NFL Zone domestically, and we’re excited to bring that experience to Canada, Mexico, and Brazil this season.”
In the U.S., the NFL Zone also provides access to the NFL App and the NFL Channel. The NFL App offers NFL+, the league’s streaming service with live local and primetime games on mobile, NFL Network, live game audio, and on-demand content, plus game replays and NFL RedZone with an NFL+ Premium subscription.
