Residents of Al-Haniyah Call for Urgent Intervention to Repair Al-Haniyah–Masa Road

Al-Haniya – Residents of Al-Haniya have called on Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, and Engineer Belqasem Khalifa Haftar, Director of the Fund for Development and Reconstruction of Libya, to urgently repair and rehabilitate the road linking Al-Haniya and Masa. They stressed the vital importance of the road in facilitating movement and serving the local population.

This appeal follows a volunteer campaign led by local youth from the “Nahdat Al-Haniya” group as part of the “Removing Harm from the Road is Charity” initiative. The campaign included repairs and maintenance of parts of the road in an effort to reduce damage and improve conditions for users.

Organizers said the campaign aims to promote cooperation, volunteerism, and community responsibility. They also hope to address service issues that affect citizens’ daily lives.

Residents commended the efforts of the youth and called for broader support of community initiatives that improve services and encourage greater citizen participation in local development.
