PM Dbeibah orders response to flooding in southern towns

Prime Minister, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, has instructed government bodies to respond to flooding in the southern areas of Ghat and Tahala after heavy rainfall and overflowing valleys.

The directives, issued to the Ministry of Social Affairs and the state water company, focus on providing assistance to affected families and deploying equipment to remove water from residential areas.

The Emergency Medicine and Support Centre was also told to prepare medical teams and ambulances to support those affected.

Officials have been asked to compile reports on the extent of the damage and the response measures taken.
