Papua New Guinea GST deadlines for September 2026 filings

The Papua New Guinean Internal Revenue Commission announced the filing and payment deadlines applicable to various taxes in September 2026.

The announced deadlines include:

• Sept. 21, 2026, for businesses charging GST and meeting or exceeding the mandatory GST registration threshold of 250,000 Papua New Guinean kina (US$55,457) in annual turnover to file and pay their monthly GST returns for August 2026.
• Sept. 25, 2026, for payment of stamp duty on transfers of property and specified property interests.

The announcement provides the applicable dates for taxpayers with filing and payment obligations during September 2026.
