“No to Settlement, Naturalisation – Libya for Libyans” ‎Movement rallying Libyans to resist settlement of illegal migrants

The “No to Settlement and No to Naturalisation. Libya for Libyans’’ ‎movement is rallying Libyans across the country to resist the perceived settlement, resettlement or naturalisation of illegal migrants or refugees in the country. The movement’s social media campaign describes itself as:

– a popular, peaceful, patriotic movement with a specified goal

– It brings together the different spectrums of Libyan society with a real will to unify Libya for one goal and overlooks differences and grievances to preserve its sovereignty, which has been exhausted by illegal immigration and accumulated challenges.

– This movement is not reduced to the name of a leader or attributed to a leader, but rather it is an entire voice of the people in which every individual is a leader and every responsible citizen unites on one word: protecting the homeland and preserving its sovereignty.

– We do not contradict ourselves, and we do not claim what is not ours.

– We do not stand behind hidden agendas, and there is no one to support us except God, and then the people of this country. The protective people of their land and identity.

– It is a movement that expresses the real opinion of the street and draws attention to fundamental issues that have been marginalized, such as:

  • – Food Security
  • – Pharmaceutical Security
  • – Human Security
  • – Unemployment
  • – Housing crisis
  • – Demographic and Religious change
  • – Population explosion caused by influx of arrivals

– It also creates media, political and legal pressure that pushes towards serious resolution of these files and puts them at the forefront of national attention.

– This movement is not only a voice of protest, but a cry of awareness and responsibility, which confirms that the people are capable of unifying their voice when it comes to the future of their children and their country, and preserving their identity and sovereignty.

– Sovereignty is a red line, and Libya is not a litter for migrants. Libya is for Libyans and no to settlement and naturalisation.
