The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said that 110 people lost their lives in 234 road crashes recorded in Niger State between January and July 2026.
The FRSC Sector Commander in Niger, Aishat Sa’adu, disclosed this on Wednesday during the decoration of 18 newly promoted officers of the command in Minna.
She said the crashes involved 309 vehicles and 1,938 people, with 892 people sustaining injuries.
