New Age | Bangladesh announce unchanged squad for Zimbabwe ODIs

The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday announced a 15-member squad for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, starting at the Harare Sports Club on July 6.

Bangladesh retained the same squad that featured in their historic 2-1 ODI series win over Australia in Dhaka recently.

Litton Das, who missed out on the T20I series against Australia after suffering a grade 1 tear on his left calf muscle, was named in the squad.

However, the wicket-keeper batter has been ruled out of the one-off Test, starting on June 28 at the Harare Sports Club.

Mahedi Hasan, who was called up as a replacement for Mehidy Hasan Miraz for the last ODI against Australia, was not included.

Mossaddek Hossan and Nurul Hasan Sohan, who returned to the national side with the Australia series, retained their places.

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will begin their ODI series on July 6 while the second and third games are scheduled on July 9 and 11, respectively.

Tigers will wrap up their month-long tour with three T20Is, scheduled on July 15, 17 and 19.  All the matches will be played at the Queens Sports Club.
