Owned by Authentic Brands Group, Nautica’s new Brazilian online store is operated by local partner TRM, which is supporting the platform through its local infrastructure and market expertise.

The platform initially gives Brazilian consumers direct access to Nautica’s menswear collections.

“This launch is the next step in our long-term strategy to grow Nautica alongside strong partners,” said Bruno Pedroso, vice president and head of Brazil at Authentic.

“TRM has played an important role in building Nautica’s presence in this market, and this launch gives the brand a dedicated channel to reach even more Brazilian consumers.”

“Nautica has global recognition and a real connection with Brazilian consumers,” added Mauricio Sarue, director at TRM.

“This platform lets us bring the full breadth of the brand’s iconic offerings for men, women and kids to more people across the country.”

The launch forms part of Nautica’s broader strategy to expand its presence in Brazil through local operating partnerships. Earlier this year, Authentic announced a long-term agreement with Altomax, a leading manufacturer in the underwear and hosiery segment, which will oversee the development, production, and distribution of these categories for men, women, and children in the Brazilian market.

Nautica is available in nearly 1,300 freestanding stores and shop-in-shops in more than 30 countries worldwide.
